Beauty, food, supplements, medicines, jewellery and watches are restricted on Amazon and other marketplaces, so you need approval before you can list. Sellers call it ungating. We check your documents, file the application, follow it through, and have your listings ready for the day you’re approved.

Every day,an application comes back for one wrong invoice.
Amazon turns away invoices older than 180 days, invoices for fewer than 10 units, and pro-forma invoices. It wants real photos of every side of the pack, not mock-ups. Supplements need the manufacturer’s central FSSAI licence, not a state one. Every marketplace has its own rules, and they change. One thing we never do is create or change a document: approval needs your real, authorised papers.
So,here’s what’s in the box.

Amazon restricts some categories, brands and products. Before you can list them, you apply and Amazon reviews your documents. Amazon calls this “apply to sell” or “request approval”; sellers call it ungating. On Amazon.in, the restricted categories include Beauty, Grocery, Health and personal care, Jewellery, Watches, Clothing, Shoes and handbags, Luggage and Automotive.
What documents does Amazon ask for?
For most applications: purchase invoices less than 180 days old for at least 10 units, real photos of every side of the product or pack, and a letter of authorisation from the brand owner where needed. Some products also need a licence: FSSAI for food, a drug licence for medicines, and BIS for toys and some electronics.
How do I get approved to sell supplements or protein powder on Amazon India?
Amazon approves supplements under Health and personal care. It asks for the manufacturer’s central FSSAI licence naming the product; a state licence isn’t accepted. The photos must show every side of the pack with the FSSAI number, and your own FSSAI number must be on your seller page.
Can I sell medicines online?
On Amazon India, over-the-counter medicines need a drug licence in Form 20 and 21 and a pharmacist on site, and they can’t be stored in Amazon’s warehouses. Homeopathic medicines need Form 20C. Meesho doesn’t allow medicines at all.
How long does approval take?
Amazon says it reviews applications in 2 to 7 business days, and you have 14 days to reply if it asks for more. Ajio says 2 to 3 business days, and Blinkit about 7 days for each product request. A complete application is the fastest one.
Can you guarantee approval?
No. The marketplace decides, and Amazon says your account health counts as well as your documents. We make sure the application is complete and correct before it goes in. We need your real, authorised documents. We never create or change one, and nobody can buy an approval.
What if Amazon turns the application down?
“Your account does not qualify” is final and can’t be appealed. For other refusals, you apply again with new documents. We find what was missing and prepare the new application with you.
Do Blinkit and other quick-commerce apps need approval?
Not under that name. Blinkit approves each product request, and food needs an FSSAI image on every pack and a valid licence at your shipping location. Zepto reviews each brand before onboarding. We handle the documents each app asks for.
Can you get us approved on Amazon US or UAE?
Yes. Each Amazon store has its own rules. Amazon US asks for USD 1 million of product liability insurance and lab testing for products like supplements and toys. Some stores pause applications for certain products, as Amazon UAE and Saudi Arabia have done for food supplements.
Which categories do you help with?
We help brands get approved in food, beauty, medicines and supplements like protein powder, on Amazon and the other marketplaces we work on. Tell us your products and where you want to sell, and we’ll tell you what each marketplace will ask for.
