Myntra’s Big Fashion Festival is the biggest week of the year for fashion online. Myntra hasn’t announced this year’s dates yet, but most reports expect it to start around 8 October 2026, with early access for Myntra Insider members a day before. Myntra usually confirms the dates in its app about a week ahead.
In fashion, the photo does more of the selling than anywhere else, because nobody can try anything on. So most of this list is about one thing: showing the clothes honestly.
The photos: sell the fit
- Show the fit from every side. Front, back and side, on a model, so shoppers can see how it sits and how it falls.
- Get close to the fabric. One close-up of the texture answers questions a paragraph can’t.
- Shoot every colour, not just the hero colour. Shoppers want to see the one they’ll actually buy.
- Follow Myntra’s catalogue guidelines for models, angles and backgrounds. They’re strict, and images that don’t follow them can hold a listing up at the worst possible time.
Model and catalogue shoots are most of what our photography team does for fashion brands.
The listing: help the filters find you
Myntra shoppers filter by size, fit, fabric, colour and occasion before they scroll. A listing with empty attributes doesn’t show up in those filters at all.
- Fill in every attribute your category asks for.
- Make the size chart accurate, in centimetres and inches. A good size chart is the cheapest way to cut returns.
- Say what the model is wearing. “The model is 5′9″ and wears a size M” helps every shopper pick the right size.
- Describe the fit in plain words: relaxed, slim, cropped, true to size.
This is what our cataloguing team writes for fashion listings.
Stock: every size, not just some
Sale shoppers buy in their size or not at all. A style with only XS and XXL left looks sold out to most people.
- Check stock size by size, for every colour.
- Put your best styles forward, the ones with good ratings and full size runs, because those are the ones worth advertising.
Ads and creative: start before the rush
- Start Myntra ads a few days early, so campaigns are learning before the sale begins, and raise budgets for the sale days.
- Back styles with full size runs. Paying to send shoppers to a style that’s out of their size wastes the click.
- Get your sale creative ready in every size Myntra’s placements need. Our ad creatives team makes these for fashion sales.
After the sale: read the returns
In fashion, returns tell you the truth.
- “Too small” or “too big” means fix the size chart.
- “Looked different” means fix the photos.
- “Not as described” means fix the words.
Festive shopping carries on until Diwali, on 8 November, so there’s still time to put those fixes to work.
Ten days is enough
Ten days is enough to fix what fashion shoppers notice first: the photos, the size chart and the stock. If you’d rather hand it over, tell us what you sell, and we’ll tell you what to fix first.
